Hawzah News Agency- The Head of Iran’s Islamic Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi has issued a message on the occasion of the epic funeral ceremony of martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the text of which is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious
Brothers and sisters, children of the great nation of Lebanon and children of Imam Sayyed Musa Sadr, Sheikh Raghib Harb, Sayyed Abbas Mousavi, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din;
May peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
Following the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (RA), our world lost a leader whose void cannot be filled with anything.
Words are inadequate to describe our grief over the loss of the leader of the martyrs of the resistance and his loyal companion, Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din. These two loyal leaders received the honorable medal of martyrdom and today “rejoice in what God has given them of His bounty, and rejoice for those who follow them and have not yet joined them, that they will have no fear nor sorrow,” but their enemies and criminal murderers “should laugh little and weep much for what they have done,” because the promise of divine vengeance is true, as He said: “We will take revenge on the criminals.”
The Zionist enemy has tried to defeat him by assassinating the martyr Nasrallah, but the flood of tears and hearts filled with sorrow at his glorious funeral revealed the truth that his pure blood triumphed over the sword. This victory was achieved by the firm steps and determination of those who continued the path of this mujahid jurist, and this fact is a sign of the enemies' failure to achieve their goals.
The presence of millions at the funeral of this great martyr, which was accompanied by the participation of people from all Lebanese tribes, Muslims and Christians, and followers of various political movements, strengthened the cohesion within the Lebanese society and proved once again that the resistance is the defensive shield of this land and the sword of the Lebanese people that can be trusted to fight the aggressions of the occupying Zionist regime. The presence of the Sunni Muslims at this ceremony also indicated the success of the efforts of this martyred leader in strengthening unity and proximity among the followers of Islamic sects.
The strong participation and solidarity of the Amal Movement with Hezbollah in this funeral dealt a heavy blow to the seditionists and made them aware of the fact that they will never be able to sow discord, whether in the political field or in any other field, among the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), and the honorable Shiite group in Lebanon will remain strong and stable in their land.
The commemoration and symbolic funeral of this noble martyr in other countries, simultaneously with the funeral in Lebanon, prove that his message has reached the nations and free people of the world. This presence is a testament to the increase in Hezbollah's popularity among the nations of the region and the free people of the world, and shows the determination of this movement to continue its presence in the field. This fact is what will once again bring the equation of terror deep into the occupied territories.
The seminaries once again emphasize that resistance against occupation is a religious obligation arising from faith in God Almighty, the teachings of the Holy Quran and the noble tradition of the holy prophet. The seminaries have always stood by the resistance movements and their mujahid brothers, therefore, they considered it their duty to attend this funeral with a high-ranking delegation and prominent professors who were representatives of the highest religious authorities and to declare their support for this divine duty. They also proudly express their gratitude for all the movements, personalities, followers of religions and sects, and free people of the world who participated in this national mourning, and they wish that the final victory and the destruction of the cancerous tumor of Zionism from the region will be achieved as soon as possible.
